This is a full width Titan axle completely set up to bolt in to a Frontier.is the track width the frontier width or titan?
Tell me about it, I pay almost 400$ a month in student loans...note to anyone starting school soon; Private, Ivy League, Out of State, tuition is VERY expensive.pick away. probably a bunch of boogers in there.
but i do want it. i would be game. but im finishing off paying for schoolso im poor.
When I had the axle apart I added internal tubes to help strengthen the axle. Basically, I added an extra layer of metal to help prevent the housing from flexing as much and possibly causing damage.Hey bud, ur prolly gonna get a lot of these questions, so please excuse me. What is internal sleeving and what does it do for the axle?? also I'm seriously lookin to rebuild my m226 with almost extact same setup from superior, what do u gotta have for your complete axle shipped to 48118, MI.
Thanks in advance. Sammy
I converted the rear to a 6-bolt flange from an SE. Off the top of my head I can't remember the exact width...I believe with my wheels and tires, measuring from outside of the tread, the rear end is 86" wide total. When I measured the stock Titan housing VS Frontier, I believe there was a difference of about 5-5.5" total. So I would guess that put you at 2.5" - 2.75" wider than stock.I'm confused....So does this rear end have a 4-bolt or 6-bolt flange?
My truck has the 6-bolt drive shaft. Also, will this be 2.25" wider on each side? or total width?
Do you ever come up anywhere near the bay area? I'll be down in SLO sometime in the next few weeks...SD is still a good drive from there, though. Do you have a price in mind for the axle?
