Figured I'd start a build thread for my truck, although this will be a slowwww build.

2001 frontier sc king cab 5 speed 4wd. Purchased in may 2014 to replace my 97 r50 pathfinder. The path was my 3rd one, had 2" ac coil lift, 32x11.50x15 bfg at On 15x8 summit wheels, weapon r Intake, Flowmaster 2.25" cat back, warn hubs, as brake lines, and tons of other mods.

Sold the path with 180k, and picked up the frontier with 130k from a customer of mine for a good price. She needs a bunch of small things which are being worked on as funds allow.

so far, ac supply and return lines have been replaced and ac charged, new alternator a few days after purchase, new tailgate straps, double din pioneer navigation system, jl audio hd amps, eclipse 3 way component speakers, jl 10w6 subwoofer, viper 2 way alarm/remote start, recovered sagging headliner, and general cleaning. She badly needs new headlights and exhaust.

Also installed a nismo transfer case knob and jdm 300zx shift knob. Currently having issues with attachments, pics to come soon
I removed the driver side king cab seat and installed 2 jl audio amps in its place. I removed the plastic jump seat cover and remounted it over the amps for a stock appearance

Got what I think is a good deal on 4 brand new rays nismo te37x forged wheels in silver, with center caps and rays black lug nuts. Waiting on a lift and tires now. Also made a custom splash screen for my pioneer radio

Future plans are...ac 3" suspension lift, warn manual hubs, ss brake lines, ebc pads and rotors, k & n intake, Thorley headers, gibson exhaust, calmini prerunner front and rear bumpers, and 265/75/16 bfg at ko. And a custom fiberglass sub box for 2 8" alpine type r to replace the pass side jump seat
Nice truck! I'll be following your build. I like what you did with the amps, removing the back seats is logical as they are useless to anyone over 30 pounds and over 2ft tall lol.
Also dig the color.
keep your factory hubs till they take a dump. the auto hubs on the frontier are pretty decent. and people have been having complaints about the warn hubs as far as strength and reliability.

I had the warns on my pathfinder for almost 55k and never had an issue
Got rid of the weak sounding oem horn and installed some fresh hella supertones. They sound amazing especially compared to the stocker

added vent visors, after a few weeks I realized they were too small and didn't help much with wind on my king cab, so I replaced them with wade aerovisor off road versions. also threw on a wade rear cab guard meant for 94-97 hardbody

for some reason they don't lost the rear guard as fitting any frontiers, but it fit fine on mine

Added a backup camera and rear view mirror monitor. camera is split between the mirror and my pioneer double din. both screens activate automatically when shifting to reverse, and both can be toggled on anytime independently of each other.

camera was flush mounted in the stock back bumper. I plan on adding a second camera to the tailgate handle in the near future

Just got the truck back on the road after about a month and a half. Started smelling coolant and looked like the pass side head gasket. So I parked it and started collecting parts. also had a slightly leaky ds valve cover gasket, and a stored knock sensor code. Ended up not being the head gaskets but Had them done anyway.

New parts- all oem nissan

Head gaskets
Valve Cover gaskets
Intake gasket
Supercharger gasket
Timing belt
water pump
spark plugs
plug wires
distributor cap
rotor head
knock sensor
mobil 1 full synthetic oil
peak coolant
and all associated parts (tensioner, gaskets etc)

all in all a little under $2k in parts and labor

but when i got her back, holy $#@% its like a different truck. No chatter at cold startup, turns right over, and having full boost is amazing. huge improvement in power. im happy! let the build continue....

I had the dually model and it looked nothing like what it was supposed to. I had no patience putting them together, yet I was subscribed to a model of the month club! So much glue, so much melting, so much mess.

Nice work on your interior. I have a homelink, but I don't dare to cut into the headliner.
New shoes. LT265/75/16 cooper at3 and 16x7 nismo volk te37x
