  1. K&N CAI/throttle body spacer V6

    Performance Mods
I may check out the bullydog tuner. Is it self tuning or does it require the user to adjust things?
  2. K&N CAI/throttle body spacer V6

    Performance Mods
When you say performance tuner are you speaking of a tuner you can buy and connect to the ECU or taking it somewhere and doing dyno tuning? If you are speaking of some sort of tuning mechanism could you please link it? I will check out the plenum spacer also.

Update: dealer replaced light under warranty and sent the old one back to be tested, so good on them. Sounds like they're making an actual effort to figure out if it could be a widespread problem instead of trashing it or not caring.

    That really sucks man.
  5. K&N CAI/throttle body spacer V6

    Performance Mods
I came from a supercharged 4cyl Tacoma. It got horrible gas mileage before I boosted it and even worse after. Had to run 93 all the time too so I can't complain too much about 18-19 mpg. I was getting about 15 with the Tacoma.
  6. K&N CAI/throttle body spacer V6

    Performance Mods
Thanks guys, sounds like staying stock is the best option for now. I drive it like a total grandpa so I guess 18-19 mpg is the best I'll get. It's a V6 4x4. The dealer told me those were the typical numbers with mainly highway driving mixed with some city (which is the type of driving I do).
  7. K&N CAI/throttle body spacer V6

    Performance Mods
Worthy upgrade? On the fence about whether I want to do it. This and possibly a throttle body spacer (if one is available) if it is actually worth it. Motor is still very new but hwy MPG with very very mild driving is around 18 mpg. I sure would like to see 20 mpg but I may be dreaming.
  8. List of Wheels That Definitely Fit On 2005+ Frontiers! (Add On)

    Wheels, Tires, and Brakes
Man I wish I could have had the same luck with mine. Maybe I'll try them again when I get my wheels. I've been eyeing the terra grapplers again actually. Love them.

    Wheels, Tires, and Brakes
No problem. I had Wild Peaks on my Tacoma. Damn things wore out prematurely on me twice. Loved them but dang, too short of a life. Properly balanced and rotated every oil change and ran 32 psi on them. So strange. Went to Terra Grapplers. Loved them. Now I have to decide what I want on this...

Here you go. https://www.autoaddictions.com/wheel-visualizer/ Also, my bad if I posted this in the wrong thread. I realized after the fact this was meant for wheels that fit for sure. New to site.
  11. List of Wheels That Definitely Fit On 2005+ Frontiers! (Add On)

    Wheels, Tires, and Brakes
Did some research on a wheel visualizer site and came up with this. Fuel Rebel 6 in 18x9 with +20 offset. Calculator says they will fit on factory suspension but have to sacrifice some meat on the tires. 255/60/18. Not sure if I want to do it or not. It's a 4x4 and I do take it off-road when I...
  12. Falken Wildpeak Life

    Wheels, Tires, and Brakes
I had the same issue with them on my Tacoma. Tried them one more time after the first set wore out (I liked them so I gave them a second shot like a dummy) and they did the same thing. Always kept the pressure around 32-35 psi and rotated/balanced. Mostly highway/city driving with several...

Now that's an idea... I agree. The last set I got for my Odyssey had prefabbed cut outs in case you wanted a certain layout with the second or third row seating. I suspect these might be the same.

That's what I figured. I started to unscrew one the other day and it didn't feel like a "natural" twist coming off so didn't force it. I'll try again when my mats come in. Some of the weathertech mats come with the ability to "trim" to fit. The pictures of the ones I ordered didn't show that. We...

Is it removable? I have not had time to pilfer through the owners manual and forgot to ask at the dealer. I ordered weathertech mats for it and the picture doesn't show a cut out to fit around that bin.

What model year did you have these issues with? Was the truck modded or stock when the problems presented themselves?
  17. Common problems with Frontiers

Well I'm gonna try to keep my glass half full here. We will see what happens. They have to honor warranties and lemon law here is pretty strict. I just didn't want to buy used and couldn't afford the Tacoma.

Dang, sounds like you're having a lot of problems. Hopefully this is all I have to deal with. I love the truck so far. Tacoma was the only other truck I'd buy and it was way out of my price range. I had a frontier before and loved it.

2019 frontier with the regular touchscreen radio. Anyone have issues with the HU randomly restarting itself while playing BT music? I've only had it for 3 days and it's done this twice. Using an iPhone 11 Pro and Google Music. Also, update on the condensation in the headlight issue. Took to...

I think you want to try and start a new post. This is under an existing post that I created as my introduction. Maybe a moderator can help you move it. Good luck with the issue.
