  1. Jbl speakers

    Audio / Video
Yeah... if anything, whenever you add better speakers to a bad source, the only improvement you’ll get is that it will be easier to hear how bad the source really is haha
  2. Jbl speakers

    Audio / Video
Even a $29.99 pair of regular 4-ohm Pioneer 6x9’s will probably give you the same marginal “increase in sound quality”. The OEM head unit is the first problem to address to gain actual sound improvement.
  3. Newer year headlights/taillights?

    General Discussion
There's a bunch on eBay, and they're all cheesy. But they're there, if you really want them.
  4. I updated to LED

    New Member Introductions
Nope, unless you wired them wonky.
  5. AC only blows hot air

    2nd Gen Frontier Builds
Wrong forum section for this, but anyways Check the ambient temp sensor behind the dash, just below the key area up front on the driver's side knee panel. If that sensor isn't plugged in, you'll get hot air regardless of AC setting.
  6. Need Help: Speakers stopped working in wife's Rogue

    Off Topic
    - Since you have the basic HU, You probably don't have to check fuses unless something that's supposed to be on isn't - in other words, if the head unit lights up and the powered sub amp lights up, then it's not a fuse. - First thing I'd do is pull the HU out of the dash (don't disconnect it)...
  7. Adding accessories to my 2019 Frontier SV

    New Member Introductions
They're just not updating their tech info. You have a "2019" but it's basically the same truck since 2005. Mechanically everything 2005-up should work with your truck, and cosmetically anything 2009-up should also work. So for accessories, try searching for a lower model year to see what fits.
  8. Lift confusion

    Suspension
You have to look at the specifications. The OME CS151R HD leaf springs specs say 40mm (1.57") lift under a constant 400-kg load. In other words, if your rear end was loaded with 881-lbs. of extra "permanently mounted" gear (rear rack, fluid cans, roof top tent, etc.) the CS151R HD's would give...

Compare your assembly with this diagram (not mine, it's from elsewhere on the forum but it's correct). This is what I was referring to when I mentioned correct assembly, as many people don't get the order of parts correct the first time:
  10. Running boards question

    General Discussion
Actual "board" type, or are you open to the bar type as well? I started with the OEM step rails, went to actual rock sliders, then back to the OEM step rails. You don't want to go cheap, or you'll have a thin, flimsy step that will flex and bend when you step on it.
  11. Raine's 2014 4x4 "KEIRA" Build Thread

    2nd Gen Frontier Builds
I think I fixed all the links in the thread, it took about an hour, no problem.
  12. Raine's 2014 4x4 "KEIRA" Build Thread

    2nd Gen Frontier Builds
Index links are fixed, now going through the thread to correct any other links that need updating. (EDIT: I think I got all post links updated as well.) THEN AFTER THAT I need to add some new changes/mods to the list that never, ever ends LOL
  13. Suspension lift Brand/Size Identification

    Very good. (y) :)
  14. Suspension lift Brand/Size Identification

    Suspension
Dude - I've seen fake Total Chaos UCAs where the logo was painted on... almost looked legit until I saw that they had the same undersized uniball assembly as the other copies.
  15. Suspension lift Brand/Size Identification

    Suspension
Really dude... at this point you're reaching. C'mon man. If the previous owner slapped on a basic inexpensive spacer lift and AutoZone , are you still trying to convince yourself that the UCAs are actual Total Chaos?
  16. Suspension lift Brand/Size Identification

    Suspension
Just up front - don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to "high horse" this or anything. As for visual cues, here's a couple: 1. The hex cap head upper bolt and small uni-ball are a dead giveaway, compare that to the Grade-8 hex head bolt and large flanged uni-ball upper sleeve on my old TCs (see...
  17. Suspension lift Brand/Size Identification

    Suspension
No need to lean, just step on over LOL They're Total Chaos copies. If they were genuine TC's, the large blue branding would be on the arm itself in plain sight. The TC's are the only legit "reputable brand" to have that UCA design, anything else is a knock off.
  18. New suspension install and help (Noise) 2005 Fronty SE 4X4

    Suspension
Not really. But the more you preload the spring for lift purposes, the ride will get worse. preloading the spring too much is the wrong way to lift.
  19. HEY ADMINISTRATORS - Thank You For Ignoring "Your" Community!!!!!

ClubFrontier AutoGuide Forum Support / Help
Finally - thank you Austin. One small step in the right direction. Question: Is it possible to allow us to edit in actual html/forum/bb type code (not WYSWYG)? I'm not sure if there's a user setting I missed somewhere.
  20. New suspension install and help (Noise) 2005 Fronty SE 4X4

    Suspension
    1. You're on the right track - check the 5100 assembly first. This is a common situation where the 5100 wasn't built correctly. 2. FYI if you put the 5100's lower spring perch at a high height (you didn't specify how high of a lift you dialed in) you will get louder sounds (even if the 5100's...
