I know my 05 LE was keyless. What trim level is yours?

I think a dealership may be able to tell you by looking up your VIN #.

Probably the easiest way is to try the fob program sequence. If I remember right you need all doors closed then insert and remove ignition key 6 - 10 times within 10 seconds (dont rush it) then turn key to either acc or on and hazard lights should flash meaning that fob is ready to be programmed. Cant remember exact sequence so someone correct me or Google fob programming for frontier and try it. Hope it helps.
P.S - you dont need the fob to see if truck is set up with keyless. This is how I tested mine and after hazards flashed I just turned ignition off then went online to buy some fobs.

I had to buy the optional Power Package on my 2006 SE to get Remote Keyless Entry. The Package also brought Power Windows, Power Door Locks and Power Outside Mirrors. Based on my '06 brochure, if you own an XE or SE and don't see the Power Package's other features in your truck, you probably don't have keyless entry unless the '05s were different than the '06s.

JDwoodworker92's LE was the upscale trim that had keyless entry standard along with many other nice features. The Nismo too had keyless entry standard at the time.

Do you have a lock cylinder on the passenger door?
Yes = no keyless
No = keyless.

That is typical for the past 20 years. There are 2 ways into the vehicle. If no keyless and the driver's door lock goes bad, you can get in with the passenger side. But to save money there is no passenger side lock when there is keyless entry. One of the odd cases where betting the cheaper trim level gets you more hardware.

A phone call to the dealership would suffice.
But you should try what @mxtreme30 suggested.
