Do first gens have similar clearance issues?

I have no idea on that, although I do believe the bolt pattern is different.

I found a buyer for the AR172's I had, and broke even $ on that, aside from the TPMS stems that I left on the rims.
Would have liked to try the OEM size tires on the ARs, but didn't make the time.
I have some finish work, modding the front mud flaps and cutting/fitting some ABS in the wheel wells up front to close up a bit of the gap exposing the engine compartment to the weather and road debris.

If I get bored, I'm thinking I'll hit the factory wheels with some black plasti-dip and see if I dig the look. In the meantime, the truck is beginning to look a bit more badass every week. Hell yeah.
