Purchase what? I had the trans already and the engine is working fine. This is a build, I didn't buy it this way.

the engine and transmission?

i was just curious, just trying to gather info.
it sounded like to me with the leaking issues and you taking in and out so much it was all a random purchase of parts. i wasnt for sure. knowing the trans was working before the swap likely means its ok and you are still having issues moving the clutch away from the pressure plate so the synchros can align easily without pressure to engage.

sounds like you need to look at the clutch assembly and fluids ect still as another has stated.

good luck man, i know this stuff can get frustrating.

It was frustrating at first but I realized this is still a new thing. No one has document this swap and those are my intentions on my thread on the brother site. There have been a hand full of Frontier guys that have done this swap with hardly no feedback online of what it took to get it all to work. A couple of Xterra started gathering parts but never finished. The fact that it drives means that I'm close. Plus, I've got good at taking the trans out so no worries. My thread will either empower others to do this mod or scare people away.

ive seen a few drive so its not all that bad.

it truly sounds like some type of clutch disengagement or missmatch issue.

since its from driven desire, have you tried to call Brennan?
from the personal experience ive had with him he is probably the most helpful dude ive met when it comes to these trucks.
