I was screwed by PRG.
UPDATE: Greg has emailed me and is going to send me the AAL's and the bearings for the shocks.
I am glad he is making things right.
I completely understand that things get busy and sometimes things slip, I have been in those type of situations before and I will not hold this against Greg or his company PRG.
Our small community needs all the support it can get and sometimes it is rough when making specialized products for a niche market.
So, I will first start off by saying I am not normally the one to make a big deal out of things nor leave bad reviews on the internet.
I ordered a pair of AAL's from Greg back in late August of last year. The item was shipped the next day and also Greg threw in a pair of Shock Eye Bearings for my Radflo's for free.
UPS lost the package. I called UPS and opened an investigation and also informed Greg because they will only speak with the shipper when a package is lost.
After that I never received a reply back. I called him and spoke with him, he sounded very busy and told me to send the details to him at his email address which I did.
No reply, no callback.
At this point I figured well, hes probably busy. Hell I know I was during that time period and I know "**** happens". I was also aware of PRG's bad reputation for slow shipment items which I figured was the deal here. I also figured he was awaiting the claim from UPS to be processed (which it had not been at that point)
09/27/2013, UPS has issued a claim. UPS could not find the package and Greg received a refund. Sweet, I figured my AAL's would surely be on their way soon.
A month later and still no AAL's. I called him yet again and again he sounded very busy and just wanted to get back to work. He tells me to send him the information in the email again and he will get it shipped out right away. I send him the email again but no reply or callback.
On March 21 I sent another email and today still no reply back.
This is not counting the numerous times in between these events that I have tried calling but got no answer.
I am now well past the timeframe that I can file a dispute with paypal, this is partially my fault as I should have taken direct action sooner. Instead I was trying to be the nice and understanding customer of a small businessman who was doing great things for our community.
So, next time I will just order from Nisstec or other vendors.
