The 4 banger frontier is different than all the other frontiers. This is what I would do.
-Remove existing coil over and spacer.
-take new 5100 add spacer, NO SPRING. Remove boot so that you can see the shaft and body. Make sure to install boot spacer/washer, use old one. Fully compress, mark this location on shaft. Install on truck.
-cycle suspension using floor jack. At full compression see if the shock reaches max compression first, or if the lower control arm hits and compresses the bump stop first. At max extension or drop, see if the UCA touches the coil bucket. coil bucket contact is ok. Shock crush is not. If you get shock crush either add a taller LCA bump stop, or a smaller lift spacer.
-remove 5100. Install spring to whatever height setting you want. Go for full 2". Install boot with spacer/washer, or no boot, but that spacer/washer must be there.
-Install whole get up. See where the UCA sits relative to the CB. Take for text drive. If all good. Drink beer be happy. If too tall/stiff or UCA too close to CB, drop it down a notch.

There is nothing wrong with coil bucket contact (CBC).

Maybe not but travel must be severely limited.
I have seen coil buckets cracked from it.
Even if it didnít , it would drive me nuts!.

So if one had 1.5" spacers up front, 5100's set to the stock height would be fine right? This is with aftermarket UCA's.

I believe based on what I see, the only other thing required would be bumps stops on the LCA's right?

I think you want them on the coil bucket. Or upper arm. Trying to lessen the coulbuvket clang?

That shouldn't be a problem with aftermarket UCA's.
