Cleaning interior?

Is it just me, or is the plastic in our Fronty's hard to clean? I can't get a nice shine out of my dash or panels at all. I used armor all, but it is streaky and dull. What do you guys like the best?

If all I am doing is cleaning, I use good ole Formula 409. For shining, I use Armor All sometimes (even though it can streak), but the Turtle Wax stuff seems to work pretty well; as well as anything Maguire's.

I've been using Protect All for years on everything, plastic, glass, even the fake leather... It's kinda expensive but goes a long way.

The Maguire's interior wipes work great, even on the touch screen. That's usually what I use. I actually tried Windex Multi-surface cleaner (the clear stuff with vinegar) last time just for giggles and it worked really well on the dash and door panels. Left everything clean and no funny residue or anything. I use Maguire's leather treatment wipes on the seats and leather door cards. I wipe it on really well to clean and then buff it with a terry towel to finish and remove any left over. Leaves a nice subtle sheen.

I frequent some auto detailing forums and through them got turned on to 303 Aerospace Protectant. This is FAR superior to the oily mess that Armorall is. I have never seen it at local retail stores, but it's easy enough to get through the internet. As to cleaning beforehand I just use a tiny bit of Dawn dishwashing liquid and water.

Thanks for the info guys. When I tried armor all, it left white streaks everywhere and I hated it. I live in Florida, and I want a good protectant on my dash before the summer sun starts to bake it.

X2 on 303 Aerospace. I found it at NAPA Auto Parts.

Been using 303 for years. I also use on the exterior trim. Can find the gallon on sale on Amazon from time to time.

If you want a dust magnet, use Armorall.

I use Adam's Total Interior Detailer to clean and protect lightly soiled interiors, and their Leather & Interior Cleaner and Leather Conditioner for interiors that need more cleaning. The Leather Conditioner is SPF 65,

Over the summer I was away and went to the NAPA store to pick up some items to clean the interiors of our hosts cars. I picked up Amour All Multi-Purpose Auto Cleaner for the cleaning, and Duragloss UD (Vinyl & Leather dressing). They both did a good job for over the counter products.
