Argh. Indeed. No news is... news?

Nissan must have a good PR agency. I think this is what they call "vaporware."

2015 Frontier PRO 4X king cab
Calmini prerunner winch bumper
Warn 87800 M8000-s winch
Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar P265/75R16

With all the time they've had to plan and design, it should be a doozie.

My prediction is that they debut the new Frontier at the Detroit auto show (that's 4 days away!) and it goes into production mid to late 2019. The trick is going to be getting pricing right- as the value leader they need to be the lowest entry pricing of all the choices out there.

I'm pretty sure it's just going to look like the current pathfinder with a bed. I mean, when is the last time it didn't look like the previously released pathfinder? I figure with the success of the Honda truck (whatever it is called), and it being so car-like, it's not a huge leap that the Frontier could lean in that direction, and that will allow them to put weird storage spots in it and other features that add comfort and cabin space, meanwhile still having some cargo capacity. Just a hunch though. I doubt it will get any bigger than it has been (like the Navara).

All Will Be Revealed . . . on February 9th?

TFLTruck tries to get a bit more specific here:

https://www.tfltruck.com/2019/01/rep...most-finished/

Their guess is a reveal at the Chicago Auto Show which starts Feb. 9th, and the new truck will be sold as a 2020 model. No guess on its appearance, but they do throw in a photo of the global Navara, as well as one of the current Frontier.

Why is there so much excitement over a “NEW” Frontier? Are you going to run right out and drop 30k on one ? I know i’m Not. I love my 2013. Sure, it will be interesting to see what it has to offer, but other than that, WGAF ? JMHO.
ghmpm and ghmpm like this.

2013 Frontier S king cab, 2004 HD Ultra Classic, Yeah ........I Like White

The ridgeline was the worst selling mid size pick up last year so I don't know if its the right way to go. I'm sure price has something to do with that.

I think most truck people also want 4x4, not AWD.

the Ridgeline was NO truck
it is a Pilot
calling it a truck is an insult to Pickup Trucks everywhere

it's a truck for people that don't really need a truck, and there's nothing wrong with that! I'm one of them, but I went with the frontier because of the value and I happen to think the new ridgeline is a bit ugly.
