Hauling with my New Frontier

Hello everyone. I am new to the Nissan Frontier. I recently purchased a 2018 Nissan Frontier 4X2 Midnight edition. I absolutely love the truck but i also think I may have put the cart before the horse. I also have already traded in my 7500lb dry weight camper for a 4500lb dry weight camper and I wanted to get your guys opinions on me towing the new travel trailer. I also purchased this truck because of the towing capacity in which I have never had to worry about when pulling my camper because I traded in my 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. Again, the new trailer is 4500lbs. I have a weight distribution hitch and sway bar. I am having a brake controller installed in my truck. I also am contemplating getting tow mirrors installed on my truck instead of getting the clip on type tow mirrors. I really am wanting advice about if I will be able to tow this camper pretty easily and which mirrors should I go with? Thanks

Should be fine. There is a thread regarding towing in the general section. 4500# is towed regularly.

Check out
. In that video they tow a 5740 lb boat over an 11,000 foot mountain pass. It's probably your worst case scenario. I think you'll be fine.

I have nothing bad to say about my 1A Auto tow mirrors. They are great.
