Raven- my new Frontier Pro4X

Well I bought Raven, my 2014 Frontier Pro4x, off of an auction about a month ago and have slowly been making some progress on it. I purchased it with some front end damage from hitting either a pole or a tree. It took me about a week working in the evenings to get the front end mess disassembled and to get all the parts ordered.

Now she's finally back from the frame shop and is as straight as new. Planning to start assembling it soon. I also went with a Coastal Off Road winch bumper kit which I will need to weld together and paint. I already have my lift kit and wheels planned out. Just need to get her back on the road first.

Wow, other than the damage, she's a good looking truck. Best of luck to you.

Well I made some progress this weekend with getting the front end back together. I also started tacking the winch bumper together. Almost a perfect fitment so far.

So I finallly got the registration for the truck started and as part of that I had to get a weight certification for CA since I bought the truck from out of state. With the winch bumper and a 1/4 tank of gas, the truck weighs 4560 lb. I also was able to get around to getting the winch bumper welded through all the way.

All I need to do now is a smog, brake and light inspection and she’s fully legal. Then it’s onto to grinding, sanding and painting the bumper. I am also painting the chrome grill that I bought into a gunmetal color with a black Nissan badge with red letting.
