I should have specified beforehand. I asked them if they put it NGK as I know that you're smart to use only OEM replacement parts for things like plugs, brake pads, etc. They said no, they installed Autolite "Iridium". I've one of the orig spark plug boxes just in case and they're labeled Autolite APP 5325. I'd rather of had NGKs and should've stipulated beforehand. Could these plugs be causing the high/erratic idle issue? Though idling high/erratic, the idle is at least smooth.
The box says "double platinum", for what that's worth.

Do you work at Whiting Field? I am just north east of you in Enterprise, AL. I work at Ft. Rucker where we teach Army and Air Force pilots to fly helicopters. Back in the summer of 98 I use to race dirtbikes there at the motorcross track in Milton. Then I got smart and realized I was too old for that and I am allergic to broke bones. Lol I have cousin who lives in Pace that I visit regularly as well. We may cross paths some day!

You're welcome. WOW! They bent you over I guess. Probably would have been cheaper at a reputable transmission shop. That's still cheaper than a transmission and radiator replacement.

Hello, I was reading your trans cooler bypass thread and i had a question. I posted but Im in a hurry to get this done before i do any more damage to my transmission. If i do the bypass mod will it stop the contamination completely? if you could let me know that would be great thanks.
