I used the sealing glue from TRS, it is basically tar on a rope form. I have seen some people use RTV or silicone and it works, but it is a lot harder to remove if you ever need to do repairs.

808 is a great guy! He will get you what you want for sure. But I hear his laser is in for repairs currently. Last I heard it should be back in a few weeks.

    Hey Nate,
When you bake the front lenses to pull them apart what do you use to re-seal them? Is it something you can buy at a typical store or is it a special order item or..? Looking at doing some work (probably blacking them out) on my reflectors and probably adding some HIDs pretty soon.
Also looking at doing a custom burger so maybe I'll hit up your buddy 808. Probably gonna be closer to a stock emblem but with NOMAD instead of NISSAN

No problem! 808 designed it, I added my user name and truck name, then he taped it and etched it with his laser etcher. He doesn't paint them but it's real easy; I sprayed it with 4 dry light coats of orange before I removed the tape, no primer. That's all I did to the one I have.

thx for the info, as far as the actual grill emblem (the lettering and biohazard symbol), 808 designed it? taped and painted? stenciled? etched? how did you get the detail? I'm thinking of doing my own design but curious how to get it to come out looking professional. thx man

The zombie grill emblems were made by 808 The first one used double stick tape. The new one is epoxied to a plexiglass backing that has bolts countersunk into it that with through the grill with large washers.

Where did you get the blacked out grill emblem? 808 fabricate them too? if so how'd you get it to hook onto the grill?

The set I have now was $850 in parts alone. But if you are on the mainland you can probably get parts from different retailers (that don't ship to Hawaii) and get away with $750-$700 in parts. If you are going to do them yourself then that is all it will cost. If you are going to pay someone to do them, I have seen rates from $200 all the way up to $500ish for some super custom stuff..
