I think i have decided to go under the roof rack foot also. It will look much cleaner and less likely to leak i think. I'm emailing those pics now

Thanks man! jrcary@gmail.com That's a good write up on the Fj. I like how he did it. I have a friend that installs sunroofs in cars for a living, so I may see what he can do, seeing as how is is experienced in cutting into roofs! I also have thought about doing the hole under the rack foot. Seems like it could be a pretty clean install there. Can't wait for the pics.

I will go get some pics of it right now for ya and try to get them sent today. Some mornings when i first start the truck and get going the XM does seem to cut in and out more but seems to find a signal and keep it pretty quickly. I just drove a 1,000 miles and didnt have any issues with it.
I actually havent gotten the lights hooked up yet. I have the same feelings as you about drilling my roof and i'm not that experienced with whole wiring part. i asked a few shops but they keep telling me like $500+ to do them. I am going to do it myslef and i believe i'm going to do it something like what this FJ did.

Ive been wondering about doing under the foot of the roof rack to. I'm not sure

Hey man. I have almost the same exact truck as you (pro4x, black, roof rack) and I have been really looking at the Xoskel light cage. I saw your pic you posted of your truck stuck, and it looks bad ***. Is there any way you could possibly send me a pic of the truck from the front?(you can also send me any other pics of it, if you feel like it!)I saw the other one you have, but it's a little small. I want something to show the wife how it looks so it helps me persuade the wife. Also, how did you run the wires? Route them? Drill a hole? The thought of drilling a hole in my truck's roof gives me chills.

Thanks man, Good looking truck you have,

    JR
