No that sounds like you did it just like mine. And mine still works after a year and a half. Check your stock grounds make sure there all together and not rotting out. I also have the grounding kit in my truck.

My code came back for the 02 grounding problem, I made two six gauge wire and connected one to the intake manifold the bolt near the distributed to the bracket in front of the heat shield then used the other wife from the same bracket to the fender, did I do something wrong?
