Hello! My name is Dean Hazen. I live in Urbana, IL. I have a 2004 Frontier V6 SC that I just LOVE however.....I need more power out of it. I've searched high and low and I fail to find any sort of engine Upgrades. When I bought the truck, it already had a smaller pulley on the SC. It has a cold air intake and a spacer.

I'd love to upgrade the computer and do other upgrades but I can't find anything else for it.

    Any information is greatly appreciated.

If you would be so kind, please email me at: dean@thegunexperts.com

    thanks.

    Dean Hazen

thanks for response. very informative.. Courtesy did the timing chain work on mine at about 111,052 miles. now have about 115,900 on it. I have an appointment on the 4th to get the AWD Control Unit (diagnosed as problem) replaced as it is taking appx 2-5 minutes for it to come back out of 4WD.. (Code P180 I will ask them to correct the timing issue when I am there. They also replaced both motor mounts at 115,900 and they are telling me one of them is already bad ? Curious to me, with only street driving and 4800 miles on it since last repair ? Any thoughts ? Jim

What cams would you recommend for the 4.0?
Would you choose your Crowers again, or go for the Wolfs?

Congratulations on your truck of the year honors. The truck looks awesome. I am sure you're getting hit up by a lot of people asking a lot of questions. And I apologize for being part of the horde of inquiring minds. Let me get to the point I have been scouring this form for a few days trying to find information on how you mounted your rack on the factory roof rack. Unfortunately I was not able to find anything. Do you have any post that show what you used to mount the rack onto the factory rack? If not would it be possible to find out what you used to mount the rack. Thank you in advance, I look forward to your response.
