So, what is the point of bluetooth? Are you using:
1. Phone integration for phone operation
2. Phone integration for streaming audio

If you do the audio, how is the quality? I hear that BT streaming audio is lacking in the SQ department.

I'm switching phone a little often. So, even it's not great for iPhone, I didn't know about it until it was installed.

Vendor told me that it would be compatible with iPhone, obviously it didn't and still doesn't.

The bluetooth is installed so the wife can use it with her phone while she is in my truck. It doesn't do the audio via bluetooth (at least with the iPhone).

So, now, it's just sitting there vacant. Anyone wants to buy???

did you try the bluetooth with the iphone before you mounted the mic? there are slots on the sides that are required to be exposed. They are used for noise cancellation and could be the reason.

Yeah, I tried that, but it just doesn't work well with iPhone. Works with every other phones though.

To get the Iphone to work properly you would need to update the software of the BT-200 using a laptop with built in bluetooth or a bluetooth dongel as the only way to update the unit is through bluetooth. The software update would be version 1.61 which is a beta version but some Kenwood techs will give it out to you or if anything just PM me and I can email it to you as being a Kenwood dealer i got the software update a while back
