The "bad grooves" theory dosen't explain how the tabs on mine (and others) appear to have melted off (ie, completely unaffect by how much the bolts were torqued down). I haven't taken the IMS off yet to check the gaskets.

The plain facts are that the GB#3 IMS product are defective. But in the upside down world of WRP, it's the customer's fault! And no, he's not going to fix the product even though it's defective. Can anybody tell me of any other situation where this is tolerated? Why is it tolerated here?
no you dont have to believe him, which is why I did the checking and measuring, and I measured the upper plenum, and my gb1 and Mobeebos gb3 and heres the measurements again. upper .119-.123, my gb1 .120, and mo's gb3 .100. I initially was going to put my good orings that have been on my truck for almost 9k miles and run them. That would be my first test. after all if they where fine in mine then they should be fine in Mo's But upon looking I could see the channels were much narrower, so I measured with dial calipers. Then I tried to even get my orings in and they wouldnt go. So if you geniuses have any other comments about why or not something failed then you spend you time, your money and come up with a why. And secondly, theyre not paper gaskets, hes your link. Mr. Gasket 77C - Mr. Gasket Sheet Gasket Material - JEGS
What Will does from here and what yall choose to accept is between ya'll but I dont take kindly to spending my time and money to help out everyone else to end the speculation to basically be bashed myself. And act like you shouldnt believe what was done, and checked.........thanks for nothing

I would really like to know why we need to send the old gaskets back to get the paper ones sent to us. Will you know who we are. You can just search for the list of paid buyers from GB#3. Are you going to try and get some sort of warranty refund at our expense? Oh, don't tell me... it's to cover the cost of the paper gaskets.
