welcome to home ownership, or why I've been driving a Nissan truck since '96 - mulch, stone, plants, new windows, kitchen cabinets, lumber, demolition debris, plants, furniture, large power tools - you name it. Our trucks can do some work!

Add some airbags to get the height back. Increases your ability to adjust your ride if you install it with an onboard compressor/gauge. I tow two motorcycles with a heavy trailer. I measure the hitch height before loading and then add air until it is the same height. Note the pressure for reference and then vary the pressure up or down as needed on the trip. Adjusted it for those rollercoaster roads and then for the mountain roads. Search the board for more on these.

nice work on the mulch. drove 300 miles with 22 bags of mulch a few years ago (it was free) and got 22mpg while doing it.

I've also loaded sand in the bed to move it from the front yard to the back last summer. handled it absolutely perfectly.

gotta love having a truck around the house.
