One thing I carry is a straight-grained 1-1/2" thick board to help support the tire jack in softer ground and give the jack a larger footprint. It fits under the rear seat in the bin. I even lined the entire bottom of the board with 1/8" rubber sheet so it doesn't rattle.

Wow, I know I need more in my truck, but now I feel like I need to go shopping, but one of my goals with my tax return is a real nice Bug out bag, and a 72 hour bag but a long term bag. What I got now is A gallon of water Fist aid kit Tow rope Hand Held CB with extra Batters 4 D cell Mag light need to get extra batters Cheap “Survival bottle” it was $9, but has space blanket, and whistle and 50 foot a parachute cord, and some other stuff so I grabbed it. Tool Kit I normally have my leathermen on my at all time. Think I will make 2 bug out bags one for me and one for my truck just do to lack of storage in the CC

Only thing I can think to add is an empty coffee can, decent sized candle, and matches. I pack these during the winter in case I wind up getting stuck. The theory is that I can put the candle in the coffee can, light it, and can keep relatively warm without using up all my gas by keeping the car running. While I have never had to use this setup in my vehicles, I have used it in a tent and it works.

For long trips and wheelin, I always carry the following:
Food (Military rations with heater bags) Water Recovery equipment Multi-tool (Sog or gerber whichever one I grab) Misc hand tools Extra clothing (Weather dependant) Candle Flashlight with extra batteries Camera Leather work gloves Rope Large First aid kit (I'm a medic by trade, so I carry med equipment for all sorts of emergencies) And most importantly I never go anywhere without my knife (CRKT M16 folder) I've prolly forgotten a bunch of stuff, but this a good list anyways.

Re: OCD
No. Just BAW (bored at work) so I decided to think of all the $#!+ I have in my truck. As for the equipment... I hope you never get stuck without the right cutting tool, or without enough light to work with, but if you do, flag me down. -- Garbage bags (I've got tons of those safeway plastic bags. I should stow a few in the truck). straight-grained 1-1/2" thick board (Brilliant! I've never thought of this) Coffee can + candle (very smart). I'll be copying this one. Water Yes, I should have mentioned that. I keep a battery of new bottle of spring water in my truck. Oh yeah, add condoms to the list too. You never know.
