Looks good! The 1st gens should've come from the factory with the head lights blacked out like that. The roll pan looks good on your truck too! I've seen them even on a few lifted Frontiers and they've always caught my eye although they seem to get mixed reviews.

Yep, I had to pass a guy on 91S this morning, he was going no faster than 5 mph in the middle lane
That is absolutely ridiculous, but also not a surprise around here. People like that need to stay home... also great pic in you signature, looking forward to the AFC championship game Sunday!

i really like the roll pan such a cleaner look n flow with the truck peeps have diff opinions about everything so to each his own some people tow n use the rear bumper some dont and i wish the headlights came like that already would have saved me some time lol i ve seen them like that but its like a black chrome
Since I've set on keeping the truck I decided to give it a little attention tonight. I replaced the rear ABS sensor that has been disconnected for the last year or so. I sheared the old one off trying to remove it so I took the time to dig out the remains of the original one.
From there I pulled out the rear seat and shampooed it, the front seat and the mats, spot cleaned the interior carpet and then deodorized the entire interior. I also finally removed the jack mounting plate from behind the rear set - useless because of my body lift and cleaned up the wiring on my sub and amp behind the seat.
Finally I decided to replace the knock sensor. I head to airborne school next week (blech, but I've been avoiding it for over 15 years so I guess its time to do it now) and will replace the sensor when I get back. The old one is already relocated down on the passenger side of the block, it just needs to be replaced. Once I do that and order a tonneau cover, hopefully I'll be back in the 17-18mpg range instead of the 14 I get now.
Oh and I'm eagerly watching the VK56 swap thread and researching the wiring details on it. We'll see what happens with that.
Went to work yesterday morning...the roads were very slick and slushy from a rare snow here in MS. After sliding a few times, I switched to 4X4. I noticed my 4X4 light didn't come on and immediately thought of the posts here concerning this issue. I switched it off and on several times trying to get it to work, but still nothing. Switched it to on and verified 4X4 was working OK.
Anyway, got to work, parked, and realized I hadn't switched back to 2WD, looked at the dash again, then realized I was looking for the 4X4 light on my Jeep. The Frontier light was working OK.
Boy did I feel stupid after getting mad at my truck...
