i would forgo the silverstar headlights. i had a set brand new, 50$. one of them burnt out in just over a week. i dont drive much either. so in that whole week, they were probably used for somewhere along the lines of...2-5 hours. total.
that looks sweet man. hope youre going to lift with those step bars on there. glad to see some folks stickin with the SA sticker. tonneau and black bull bar look sweet with the graphite rims and grill.
Well, i have the 1.5/2.5 rear/front lift brackets/coils on there right now. Depending on what size rubber I decide to go with next year, I'll remove them and maybe go with something else. But right now it sits almost as high as my 2WD titan did. Definitely looking forward to working on this more and driving it more. I've had it for 2 months now and been gone away @ work for 5 weeks of it.....

Hmm interesting. THanks for the info. I may forgo them just because I'll eventually have the other lights on anyway. I could use that money to buy more off road lights

exactly! 50 bucks spent on bum bulbs would be better suited to doing an HID conversion as well. done right anyway. its kind of a drop in the bucket for that, but...better than wasting it on something youre going to replace anyway.
I gave my truck the last two days off. The weather has been great.

I have a set of silverstar ultras in the headlights as well as the fogs and they have been running strong over 2 years. And I drive at night fairly often.
Just my experience with them. Did you touch the bulb when you put them in?

E-brake pads should be showing up today. I've been contemplating what I'm going to do with my rear axle. The driver side axle seal is blown for the second time, and I'm pretty sure my pinion bearings are shot, which is a pretty big job. With the amount of seals I've replaced on it, it seems to be a lemon. Both axle shafts are corroded, which causes the seals to blow. Think it's worth it to swap out the entire thing? M226, non-nismo, 6 speed. Anyone know what they charge to ship an axle?

Which ones did you get? Are you planning on getting the axle seal taken care of first so that you don't get oil all over the new pads?
I got the Raybestos ones that you bought on Rock Auto, I think?
And yes, I already queried a previous order I made to Courtesy Parts, so that I can order another set of seal parts. Sigh. I hate this. $134 for a bearing, seal, and retainer.
Edit: Just found this for $37! The Titan guys are saying it works.
