Got some decent tires and sold the old ones since they only had 5k miles on the truck. Took the money from the tires added fifty bucks and found a like new A.R.E. campershell on Craigslist. It sure changed the entire look of my Fronty.

New front shocks on the fronts of my 1998 Frontier, yesterday, $20 each. Apparently these should be replaced every 179,886 miles.
Apparently shocks (Monroe here) don't arrive in the compressed state with strings holding them compressed any longer, to save shipping space and to make it easier to install, had to rig up my own.
And I had to grind down the metal sleeve inside the rubber bushing at the lower end to fit, was like 0.5mm to large. Made in USA too, said the box.

spun my tires at a stop light on wet cement. one of those nice spins with people around where both tires spin enough to notice, but not like you were really trying.
