Popped out a ding in the hood where a DANG PINE CONE FELL ON IT!!!!!!

drove it through some snow and winter storms up to Las Vegas Ski, parked it for 6 hrs or so while i skied and then drove it home.

Changed the oil, filter, and air filter.

And a big FU to the Nissan Engineers who designed where the filter is on the 4.0.

changed the oil and filter (since it's actually above freezing) and, for the first time, didnt take off the front skid (usually I do but ever since I mangled it, it's a real PITA to put on). this of course was after loading all my trash and recyclables and taking them to the xfer station so I got dripped on while changing the oil. Oh well.

I see a shrock skid in the future, looks like they attach a little differently and dont go quite as far back.

I've seen much much worse locations (4-cyl in a D21, had to remove this stupid rubber flap and reach in through the wheelwell).
The 95 KC I had with the 2.4 was a pain. Not as bad as the Frontier though. I removed the oil from the top but it was messy.
