What is it about these 2nd gen Frontiers?

My CC Nismo 4X4 is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. After owning it for 2.5 years, I STILL like to look at it and I CAN"T WAIT to get in it and drive EVERY single day. Even with gas prices what they are, I still take the long route as often as I can.

I have never really been "into" cars and I have never been one to just go for a drive for the fun of it ... not since I was a teenager anyway. I had planned to keep this truck for 15 or 20 years and I do not think that will be difficult at all.

I totally agree with you. I love my truck more than any other truck that I've had. I love lookin at it and I can't help but get a big *** smile every time I do. I may trade up to a CC LWB in a year or so but who knows. I agree, love the 2nd gens.

It's not just the second gens

I've shocked quite a few people when I told them my truck was 5 years old. A lot of people think it's brand new; and I get compliments on it at least once a week.

I like looking at it so much I have it as the desktop on my computer. And when I had a forced separation of nine days to get a repair done at the dealer... all I wanted to do was just get my truck back so I could drive it.

I tuck it in at night and read it a story; usually the Little Engine That Could, or the book adaptation of the movie "Cars"...

Ok, so the last part I made up. But suffice to say, I love my truck.

That was fun. Who wants to do it again?

I had two, a 2000 and a 2002 and both were great to drive.

Alright, stop it, you're scaring the kids!!

In all seriousness, I just got mine about 5-6 weeks ago, and All I have to say it I agree with this thread 100%.
This is the most capable truck I've ever owned (my fourth truck just for the record).

I definitely agree. My truck is 6 months old now and I even know it's birth date from the factory... (Oct. 26/07). I get sad when I see it dirty, like when I see my son with a messy face and I just have to clean it. I have also thanked my lucky stars that the big rocks that I took on the highway only wrecked the windshield (I'm on my second already...). I would've cried if the rocks hit anywhere on the paint!

I signed my papers to get the truck in Sept, but didn't take delivery until Nov. 19, so I had the only Nissan website photo of my package and colour as my desktop for quite a while. My wife says that I was lucky to have two babies in one year, my son and my truck. I couldn't agree more and I take note of how thankful I am for both daily!
