Nah, I'm sure it's fine...I'm guessing a bucket is about a yard of material. I have loaded my truck with a yard or a bucket full of bark mulch and it does compress the suspension but it drives just fine. I've done it twice now and everything checks out fine; it doesn't even hit the bumb stops. If you looked under at the suspension and leaf springs and it looks fine, I'm sure it's all good. These trucks are pretty hefty.

05SE here, and I had a yard of loam in my mine which is a medium sized bucket and I didn't even hit my stops. I also had a 1.5 cords of wood in it, which did bottom out the rear and it was also fine. I am sure if you cracked a leaf or something you would have heard it and you would see it too.

yard of mulch weighs way less than a yard of loam.

I have taken a yard of crushed rock in mine with no problem at all. The back end was sitting pretty low but whatever....

Yeah I know but it is pretty damn heavy when it's wet. Just trying to ease the guys nerves because I was a little paranoid with the mulch too but it turned out fine. How much do you think a yard of mulch weighs compared to a yard of loam?
