I'm so tired of fighting with dealerships. The first reason my truck went in for service (rattling valve noise)...ended up being a loose butterfly that was re-attached with adhesive. That's what the dealership invoice paperwork says... "goodwill warranty." Well, if you reference TSB NTB05-015b, it specifically addresses this problem. It's another case of being F'ed over by dealership and by Nissan (cause nissan said the TSB didn't apply to my truck...)
IF i decide to buy another Nissan, several questions will have to be answered by general manager and service manager and documented in writing. I'll probably buy the 60K bumper to bumper warranty as well, because if I had that right now, my truck would be in the shop being painted and none of the issues i've had with it the past 2 weeks would have needed any phone calls or direct references from the warranty book concerning powertrain coverage.
Nissan of Omaha lost a customer....actually 3 customers. I was first in my family to have a foreign vehicle. My dad laughed and said it was absolutely stupid. After driving my truck once, he fell in love with it and traded his silverado off for a Titan. I got my mom a nissan versa shortly after they first came out. I'll never set foot in the doors of Nissan of Omaha ever again to look at a vehicle and for darn sure not for service.
I advise all of you in the Omaha area (eastern nebraska/western iowa) to go to Woodhouse Nissan or Lake Manawa Nissan for service and sales. The headaches and disrespect that I have encountered at Nissan of Omaha is simply unacceptable and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
