water leak

Hi there, I have a 2008 frontier 4 door. I have been having a water leak, the water soaks my in-cabin filters and runs down into my blower motor and onto my floor mat and carpet on the passenger side. I brought it in for repair and the said a piece was not installed over the air intake vent under the cowling, has anyone else encountered this problem? They put a piece in but it looks like they made it in the shop out of a piece of plastic from some sort of jug and siliconed it in place but I am still having some leakage, so I was looking to find a diagram of the air system so that I see what the original piece should look like, can anyone help me?

I would go back to the stealership and demand an OEM solution, not a ghetto-job.
