We do have a reputable company that has contacted us about becoming a sponsor. They will be able to make high quality, inexpensive intake manifold spacers. These would be cheaper than other IMS's on the market for the VQ40, and would not use a recessed area for OEM gaskets. I can't give out anymore info, but he should be posting a thread in the next few days to explain his design and see how the interest is in the product. He will then determine if he wants to become an authorized vendor.
Interesting and mysterious. Looking forward to seeing that post.
Well I Just Fixed Blacktigers Ims With My Dremil, Worked Great. Alittle Off In A Couple Spots, And Burned Up A Bit For Each Ims But If You Have A Dremil, Go Get A Metal Cutting Bit And Fill The Channel With Oil To Clean And Cool Bit And Use The Router Attachment. 1/8"=.123 Is perfect Size And The Orings Slip Right In Now.
Would you be willing to do this agin ?

Does anyone else think this is a reasonible solution? If this fixes all the mis-machined IMS's and gets them back up and running, I am willing to kick in for a "Brutal Fixes IMS's" fund. This is all if Brutal is okay with this.
Brutal's customer service blows Will's out of the water....AND IT AINT EVEN HIS PRODUCT!!!!!
really kinda of sad that brutal had to step up to the testing, rather than blame all of us for improper installation.
And now...the man is fixing some of the Improperly Machined Spacers....
along with truck of the month, we should have member of the month...LOL..i nominate BRUTAL!!
