I guess I'll ask this: what group buy were you?

Your gaskets look more orange than some of the other bad ones...

On since I've been on CF: Tow Hitch
Next Mod: 2.4 SC Pulley!!! Glow Shift boost gauge; and maybe some Yoko Geolander A/T S's... with some spacers

That was fun. Who wants to do it again?

I'm pretty convinced it's a bad batch of gaskets. Were you GB#3?

Yup, no surprise. That is why I have not removed mine just yet. The nipples on my gaskets have come off and were down on the engine. I know if I take mine off it will look like that too.

Wow. That stinks. The list just keeps on growing. Has anyone tried the BBB. Maybe they can arbitrate a solution with WRP since there are so many of you now. Did anyone pay with a service such as paypal? If so dispute the charges. I feel for you guys. I am glad i didn't go in because my head would have popped off my shoulders by now with all this nonsense you guys are going through.

2 of the little nipples are cut on mine too. they are still intact....but barely. and this is an area that has NO force on it at all. so i dont see how will can claim it is an over torquing problem.

also, after seeing it 1st hand, the parts that are all chewed up are a brown color. which in my mind is evidence of heat damage.

*sigh* looks like the heat tolerance was a tad bit low on those...or they didnt sit right when you tightened it all down, and the vibrations from the engine just murdered it.
