Yeah I know that going to nissan would be pointless, interesting thing happened tho, I went out and cleared the code using the bullydog. (The ses light was still on after leaving the mechanic shop) it was still the p1754 but I cleared it, started the truck and took it on a five mile trip with no issues and no ses light. I'll keep u guys updated.

Good point. My fault. Best bet may be finding a wrecked 2011+ and getting the trans. Might check Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market. Other than that possible trade it to a dealer that accepts trades on vehicles that are pushed, pulled or draged in. Or check the cost of a rebuild vs junkyard trans.

Bummer

Bummer about your problem. I've been lucky I bought my 05 nismo new now I have 75k on it with half of the mileage being off-road. Because it spends allot of it's time on the dirt I have the radiator flush once sometimes twice a year. It's part of the 30k service. The only problem so far has been a coupler between the heater hose and radiator that was seeping, so that was replaced. But after I hit 80k I'm planning on changing the radiator to the updated version that should have resolved this problem. It's bad being blindsided by a major failure when the truck was bought used with more then 80k of miles on it.

Many car rental agencies (this includes car dealers) will not rent to people younger than 25.

Got this in the mail today stating that they will cover the rad for an extra year or 130,000km due to the fact they now acknowledge there crap rad setup.
