Driving at 20mph for a mile, running erronds all afternoon checking the pressures every time I stoped and they are fine but the light still wont go out. can some one help or direct me to the right thread thanks drew

Try putting 35-37 psi in the tires cold. If that doesn't work you might have a damaged transmitter.

You're welcome. I hope it works for you. I had to put some air in one of my front tires today. I hope there isn't another nail in one of my tires. It had about 29psi in it when I checked it.

That is silly that Nissan doesn't have a 5th sensor in the spare. My dad's Rav-4 that we keep at our condo has one in the spare, and well... it went off last time we drove it so we filled up the spare.

ever since i changed my wheels, i was waiting for it to come on. but i had it for over a week and still didn't come on.. I dont think 4wheelparts put sensors in my new rims... i know the computer works because i did buy new stock rims without sensors and it went on in less ten 10 seconds when i turned it on then i transfers them.. if 4wheelparts did put sensors great, but i hardley doubt it if they did because they are very pricey and on the reciept it said free valve stems and stuff. can something be wrong with it??

Do you still have your OEM Wheels? You can check them and see if the sensors are still attached, they are part of the valve stem and visible from inside the wheel. Also, if your new "free" valve stems are rubber, you don't have sensors. Others on here have swapped wheels without swapping the sensors and have not had the alarm go off...

My Ford Explorer had a sensor in the Spare as well, and the computer that monitored the sensors would indicate which tire was low. Nissan's system is really simplistic compared to others on the market! Shame on them for cheaping out on a safety feature such as TPMS!

I'm starting to have a problem with mine. The light came on and I put 35 psi in each tire and the light went off, then 15 minutes of driving later, the light came on again. Checked the psi again and still at 35 psi???

I'll have to take it in. It was intermittent, but now seems to be permanent.

I'm glad this is stickied. I took the Frontier up to the mountains this week, and my light came on last night. I checked all the tires and they were fine. But it was cold and I'm guessing that's why the light came on. It came on last night. This morning it was still on until I got out of the mountains and it warmed up (drove about 45 minutes, then it turned off).

TPMS light on again in 3 days

My light came on and all tires were fine. Took it to the dealer and they reset it and told me everything looked good. 3 days later it came back on. So tomorrow I will set up an appointment, cause something ain't right.
