TPMS-pressure check

I have a 2008 Nismo with a tire pressure monitoring system. I also have the Technology Package that includes various audio features, including a small rectangular screen. I do not have a navigation system.
I understand that the TPMS is for alert when a tire has low pressure.
But my owner's manual also says that the tire pressure in all 4 mounted tires can be checked on the "display screen". I then refers you to the audio section of the manual; which does not discuss tire pressure (at least that I can find). There is no exclusion statement "if so equipped" after the tire check paragraph.
Is the manual wrong? Can I check the tire pressure some how with my truck or is this a feature meant for other Nissan vehicles with other options?
Does anyone have experience with this?
John

As far as I know, the tire pressure display is not available on the frontiers, but maybe it's something new on the 08s. Havent heard or seen anything on it yet.

in 2 years when you get new tires it wont matter anyway because the salt will have corroded the nuts that hold the TPMS in and several of the TPMS sensors will break...now that I think of it, I'm gonna dissect one of these things, might as well, I have 3 of them in my center console right now.

As for checking the pressure, it would have to be something new if it can do it. I know the '05 is just a dummy light and a buzzer when there's a problem (and even the buzzer seems to have some quirks as to when it sounds). Would be nice to know what tire and what the pressure is from in the cab but I suspect that at least on mine the sensor is just a pressure switch so it doesnt actually send a pressure, just a 1 or 0 depending on if the pressure is high enough or not.
