And you should write them a nice letter informing them of such. Not as if they are going to do anything, but it never hurts to write a nice letter outlining the problems, actions, and your eventual course of action (bought a Fronty) because of their lack of response. Might help others in the future if they know that their untimely response leads to customers "jumping ship".

Hey if they're looking to spend some green, tell them you just write you a check or pay off your frontier. Wishful thinking, I know.

WoW, those must have been SOME problems! They had my Taco for troubleshooting/repairs (that never were resolved) nearly a month over the course of it's first summer and never offered me ANYTHING . I did take GREAT enjoyment of writing the home office as soon as I "exercised my right as a consumer" and bought a Nissan this time around! Didn't fail to mention that I continue to talk people out of buying their products based on their P$SS poor customer service.

Unfortunately, that is the direction the whole auto industry is going (at a fast pace), as a former employee of both toyota and nissan I can tell you if you had serious problems with any nissan product the response from the home office will be no better, its frustrating for those of us that have worked for thier dealerships because our paychecks are based on customer satisfaction surveys and we get the shaft from the manufacturer as well when we are trying to help people and deal with their issues....

Wow, 3 former taco owners in one thread who traded for a Frontier due to problems w/ Toyota. So much for Toyota reliability huh!
