Thank you masteryoda13. I am betting you are right. Hopefully your driving style will change as your faculties diminish as they do in old age.
That is why you see the little old people creeping around getting in your way. I have not deteriorated to that point yet. I just don't drive like I did when I was younger. My priorities have changed and I am betting for most of you they will change too. Enjoy it while you can, but the government may limit you before you have to limit yourself if things keep tightening up on John Q. I am thankful I have had all of the freedom I have had for most of my life. I have lost more in the past 10 years than all of the years before that. OkieScot

Drove an '06 Altima when we were shopping for a car to replace my wife's POS Grand Cherokee, also drove an '06 Accord. The Altima was loud, shifted horribly and was not as comfortable. We both agreed even though we drove them both alone and at different dealers, we ended up with the Accord. I wanted to like the Altima more but in the end, her car, her decidion. And the plan had been to wait until the heep was paid off then get her a TL, too bad the heep was garbage. As for Nissan or Toyota being in an aliance with GM, I really dont think either would save GM. Sure, either could build a car that would last and be dependable but with GM designing the sheetmetal, it will still look like the same crap. |

I am not sure there will be any place to go as we probably have more freedoms than most countries we would consider living in.
I hope I am wrong, but I see our freedoms being taken away at an accelerated rate. I truly miss the good old days even though we did not have a lot of the luxuries we enjoy now. OkieScot
