Totaled Truck, new truck pricing

Well, the Frontier is dead. My wife, 4 year old and I were on a toll road where traffic stopped. I saw a Ford F150 coming up behind me and he was not slowing down. I tried to get into the median to protect us and the guy clipped my back corner bumper. The truck rolled over numerous times. The roof caved in a little, but all three of us walked away with minor injuries (really sore, will need some physical therapy). I am now truck shopping and since we walked away from this, I am thinking about getting into another Frontier. I am looking at another LE with leather and towing. I see a price here in FL of about $30k MSRP.

Couple of questions:

1. Where can I find the invoice pricing?
2. What are others paying and what kind of negotiating can be done on this 30k truck?

Thanks,
Ryan

Holy Crap! What a mess. That's amazing (and I'm glad) you're all OK. I was thinking about the same thing happening (not to me) this weekend when I (and about 300 other cars) was stopped on the Interstate (95) because of an accident. It's amazing how many people don't see all of the brake lights ahead of them and, literally, plow ahead.

Sorry I can't answer your questions, but frankly, I think a representative from the F150's insurance company ought to go buy whatever vehicle you want and deliver it to your front door.

each state has it owns rules but just go on KBB.com or edmunds.com. Both are good sources for info. Just print and make sure your invoice that you print and bring to the dealer is for the exact vehcile you are looking at, or else you paper doesnt mean anything anymore.

Glad to hear you and your family are alright. Good luck in your recovery and finding a new truck. I believe New Car Prices, Used Car Pricing, Car Reviews by Edmunds Car Buying Guide gives you invoice pricing.

I am speechless... We are glad that everyone made it out of that "alive." What a dumb *** (F-150). I hope you are all receiving the proper medical care for such a horrific crash. Good luck with everything (family medical care, insurance, etc...)

You can order a pricing guide from Consumer Reports. They list invoice pricing for the different trim levels and options also. Glad you and yours faired well in your accident.
