Yes, you can take that info to court and get a jury to listen to both sides (defense and plantiffs). Once they hear the facts and sometimes, lies, they have the overall judgement. Sometimes they think what if that was me? I would have been killed for some law that does not apply to the vehicles. They would then award the plantiff for the damages. Its all about who is on the jury at the time. It could go either way. I know this first hand because I have sat down in many many many roll over cases during trial and listened to different sides debate and yes, it can go either way.
Not trying to start a legal fight here or anything I was initially stating Nissan should (even if they dont HAVE to) make it a little stronger to protect their customers.
