I say cover the floor and the box in aluminum foil, then go to town with fiberglass, keeping in mind to use some mdf for the speaker surround (to mount it), then trim it up, sand it, paint it, and you'd have yourself one decent (and contoured for maximum volume) box.

You only have to get it right once, and then you'll be done.

Trust me the box is well supported in side matey, made sure of that!! the reason for the 10mm was to get the depth to get that sub to fit!! that polly fill sounds like a good idea! of to the shops tomorrow for some me thinks!!

Thanks for the tips and advice!!! anyway heres some pics of my amp in place under the passager seat

got to dismantal the dash now to pick up power supply to power up the amp and speaker conections to wire in my RCA line converter. so heres my dash be for i distroy it

Damn dude wtf is wrong with your truck!?!?!
Nissan made it backwards, the freakin' steering wheel is on the wrong side!

Anyway, I have to agree with some others on here. 3/8" (10mm) is kinda wimpy for a sub driving the kind of wattage they do.
I hope you don't rattle that box apart.
