i turn off my VDC and can spin the tires all day long. not sure why others cant.

same here, and i'm running toyo 285's...i just had my wheels rotated last week for the first time and now when i go around corners it will start making that weird sound and flashing slip...i assume the wheels are a bit worn on the outside and it is trying to compensate somehow??????????

see, if you guys would have just been cheap you wouldn't have to worry about any of this

As I have stated many times; My truck doesn't have any of that fancy gobbely gook and I can get the tires to smoke anytime I like. Also got rid of that pesky abs business to...so my truck actually stops when I want it too now.

i had it in there. all the braking electronics turn off but the brakes still work, so you can do burn out. however a dealer might be really PO'd if they see it. turning off the front gauge could be considered tampering with mileage since it might not be recording any of that. but i hate ABS going off when im in sand.

Toyo M55 causing ABLS to activate

I'm running 285/75/16 Toyo M55's, brand new, and now the ABLS is activating when I take most any tight turn above 35 mph. Nissan told me that is was the size of the tire causing the ABLS to activate. A calibration issue they said. From what I'm reading here I guess its just a matter of tires which are prone to slipping on pavement causing the ABLS to kick in more often.

Try this thread. I put a switch in my truck, works good. Dirt Braking=Poor performance
