My bad, good catch. I forgot to mention that if the spare was used and switched out, the wheel with the transmitter would be under/in the bed and if/when low will set the indicator off as well.

At any rate it is possible and can be the case however remote.

The transmitters have to be in motion to work. That's why you have to drive the truck above 16 mph after adding air or other service involving the tires and wheels.

That would be partially correct sir. The vehicle has to be in motion (running), not the sensors to initiate or clear the system.

Also, for sake of what was originally stated, I still don't believe the OP should be alarming at 31 psi.
Since he (?) and I are '05s (NISMO here) and yours is an '06 (LE also) what does your manual state?

Thanks again Zero, I had my replies mixed up between blackwaterstout and speedfrog. Read as both from OP.

Should be your remedy. Once you replace the TPMS wheel, properly aired the light should go out.

Also, if your tires are over 42 psi it will make the light come on.

Thats why I believe I may have a problem with my TPMS. I had all 4 tires reading at 35psi and drove my truck over 10 miles on the interstate. The light should have went off.

I forgot to update this thread after getting my tire plugged. Sure enough they plugged my tire and the TPMS light finally went out but it took about 15 miles of highway driving for it to happen. I can't explain it but it did eventually go out.
