Received The Recall Notice For The Crash Zone Sensor (CZS)

I just received the recall notice for the Front Air Bag Sensor or Crash Zone Sensor. I was wondering how you folks that had the work done made out. Is it quick and painless. Did you receive the truck in the same condition that you brought it in. If you waited, how long did it take? The reason I ask is the last recall had left much to be desired. They replaced my door locks, and the inner plastic door cover has never been the same. It has a loose feeling at times unless I role the window up and down. Just wanted to know how things worked out. Thanks...

The dealer did mine when the truck went in for other work. They had the truck for the day so I'm not sure how long it actually took. The truck seems the same as it did before the recall work.

The part is located just above the front license plate and can be done in under one hour.

another? it's the same one, they just finally got around to sending out the notices. I've got mine, have not called yet but I may see if they can do it this week since if I decide to go with OEM brake pads I'll need to go to the dealer anyway.

the loosness your feeling is most likely they didnt get a lil push popper thing all the way in the retainer hole in the metal of the door when they put the panel back on.

No notice for me! WTH? Then again, I usually threw away stuff from Nissan in the past because they just wanted to give me $2000 off a sentra or something else stupid like that.
