Rear brake line length dilemma? Help!

I'm starting to get a little concerned here. I am installing the AC rear shackles with the extended shocks. First of all, AC and just about everbody else says there should be plenty of extra brake line. I don't. I have a Mar 2006 Nismo CC 4wd. I ordered the Calmini rear lines that are supposed to be 3.5 inches longer than stock and are 19". I received them today and they are too short. According to the receipt and website, I ordered correctly. My stock ones are 30" long (I'm counting the length of the rubber hose that threads trough the welded clamp) . Calmini have the nuts and thread at both ends, mine has a nut and thread at one end and a metal pipe with a 90 degree angle then a nut at the other (I think its called a banjo connection or something)

Can somebody please verify I'm not insane?

I have the Traction Package also (Maybe that's the difference?)

Aren't the Calmini lines extensions??

I think you should use your old ones and connect the Calmini's onto them.

Good point, but I don't think so. Both the ends are the same, not male - female. Also, at most you would need three inches. These are nineteen inches long.

Problem seems to be solved.

Talked to AC and they are currently working on some prototype new brake lines for my style and they should be ready for sale next week.

Phew!

what. thats weak. they sell longer brake lines and they arent even long enough. either way, your lines should be plenty long. have you tried to relocate the bracket?

The bracket is welded. I think there has been a brake line design change mid-year. Either that or perhaps due to some option I have like the traction control, the lines are different. AC said I'm not the first one with these lines.
