I know the 09+'s received the updated front end... Now whether that included the actual structure and radiator mounts, hoses, size, I can't imagine they'd change all that to add some new headlights and grille.
But then again... They probably would lol.
Also can we see some proof that the OEM rads are $400+

Good news and bad news.
Good news is that when you look up a 2010 Frontier V6 Automatic in the Nissan parts computer, it gives the 2012 radiator as a compatible part number.
Bad news, it's $543.60. Just confirmed it with a dealer.

Well, for that price, I'd probably just buy the one I started this thread about. But, even if shipping was $30 on the OEM one, it'd still be $100 cheaper than the dealer.
Only thing that may sway me to the updated 2012 radiator would be the hopes that I could get Nissan to reimburse me for using one of their parts.
Couldn't you then buy an aftermarket OEM replacement? As in a non-Nissan made radiator?
They sell for nearly a quarter of the price of the Nissan rad.
If it's made to replace the 12 rad then it should be the same OEM design. And since the 12's rad is free of the issue the replacement would be too.

Glad to hear that you finally found a radiator but there are PLENTY of different places that make quality replacement radiators to address this issue. Do you by chance work for this place?

Yeah, I'll look around at that option. Didn't know until earlier that the 12 radiators would fit.
