Question Pumping gas issue

When I pump gas into my 13' Pro4x the damn pump at the station keeps clicking off like the tank is topped off, but it's not. My prior vehicle i use to own(2007 300C SRT did the same damn thing. I was told the whole fuel tank had to be replaced. This has been happening for months and it's very annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

I need to take this truck in for some warranty issues soon. Sticky brakes after backing up and switching to drive, smell of coolant at times and this issue I speak of now.

Have you tried not putting the trigger holder at it's top flow? Or if it doesn't have a holding clip ease up on the trigger while filling. Bit of a pain in the @$$ I know but I doubt a new gas tank will change it. Someone's pulling your leg.

In Oregon we are not allowed to pump our own gas. I don't believe you need a new tank, however..

I also doubt I need a new tank. that was a Chrysler thing. But clogged evap might have something to do with this as I do take the truck offroad and in the mud.

Yes...correct. When I let off the handle and set it to the slowest pump setting, it's fine. Weird.

The sticky brakes are a "feature" that I believe you are taking about.

Look up hill start assist system in the owners manual. This feature also activates when switching into a forward or reverse gear.

This felt odd to me when I first got the truck, now I like it.

Ca has crappy vapor recovery nozzles that shut off frequently. Try a different gas station.

Not really. I'm talking sticking hard. After backing up on normal pavement, shifting to drive and pressing the gas pedal and not moving at all. Like the truck is being held from moving. At the same time the brake pedal feels super stiff. I have to push the gas pedal and at about 2000 rpm it gets unstuck and jerks forward. Almost like power braking.

I've had this issue a few times, it's usually the pump for me.

Yes, different brands of fuel pumps run differently. 2 of the stations near me pop when my wife's Sentra is 3/4 full, most others let it fill right to the top.

A.K.A. NYTKSHR: 2011 Xterra S. Initial purchase paid off, now just need money to replace the parts I continually break chasing the LV crew around.
