Nissan Airbag Sensor Recall

I don't know if this has been posted yet but:

Nissan Recalls More Than 200,000 Vehicles

It states that over 200,000 Nissan vehicles (DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY FRONTIERS) are being recalled for a faulty airbag sensor. States that the sensor might stop the airbag from deploying when it needs to.

The reason I bring this up is, in my 08 CC, I have noticed that when my Fiance sits in the pass seat the airbag will turn off sometimes. She weighs 110 lbs and I can't imagine that the airbag should be turning off.

I wonder if this recall will spread to inlcude our vehicles. I am going to take mine into the dealership to look at this and a few other problems.

You might want to look it up, but it could be safer for someone who is 110 pounds to NOT have an airbag then it would be to have one 9/10 times.

If I put my hand on the seat it turns off?! They might need to check what they write before posting it on the net...!

I'm not sure but I think it has an 80 lb. trigger, but my son is about 85 lbs. and the airbag stays off. My wife is about 130 so that's a different story
