I happen to own a 2017 Frontier obviously it is covered under warranty
Well my XM antenna on the roof is the point of water leak when it gets wet. I called the center roof console out and poured water on it and can see it dripping from there so I know for a fact that it is that unless I am in a universe where things work differently the law of physics to apply to normal time and space.
I took it to the dealership where I bought my truck and they told me they would have to remove my headliner I know for a fact that the mechanic there are poorly trained and are mostly a joke, I have been a mechanic for over 30 years and have worked on darn near everything on a automobile that there is, I took it in because the radio was messed up the other day and they left fingerprints on my headliner and didn't put my A pillar back in place correctly
I had to fix it...
And there was no need for them to pull my A pillar in the first place because it was a simple radio swap, (I already told them that before they started) the other one was not allowing my mic to work correctly it was defective but yet the morons had to pull the a pillar and other things down why I don't know
well they swapped the radio like I told them and it works perfectly now
So needless to say I do not trust them. They said they would have to remove my entire headliner to fix this I know that all it is is to pop off the roof center console on the roof and fix the problem from there it is very easily done, I do not trust them enough to allow them to take apart my headliner I am in kind of a pickle I do not want to buy myself a new antenna for a truck that is not even five months old or do I drive to a dealership further away so they can do the same thing and tell me they have to pull my headliner down so they can screw it up as well I really am starting to dislike this truck it looks good drives well and has plenty of power (for its size) but the Little problems that it has are making me regret my decision to trade in my Silverado
