So...what do you mean by "fit consistentlY"? Can anybody give me concrete reasons why people are having such a hard time fitting wheels? I'm definitely scared to mail order now, so I'll do a LOT more research. PLEASE somebody give me details!
After very much research and discount tire sending back two different sets of 17's, the only size of all those with custom wheels for the Frontier that "Fit Consistantly" (without any rubbing from the "Front" brake caliper) were 20's, regardless of the other sizes and offsets available for the same wheel.. The problem is finding a wheel with our basterd bolt pattern with enough offset (factory is +30) to clear the brake caliper bracket that sticks out like a sore thumb. My offset is + 25 and are very close to the caliper, the thickness of 3 sheets of paper. I was woried about brake warp causing the wheels to start scraping but the guy at Discount Tires said the chance of the bracket warping was slim. Will keep my fingers crossed. Some with 16s or 17s are using spacers or have to grind down part of the caliper bracket. I would definitely stay away from a mail order unless you have seen the exact wheel on another Frontier and know it fits.

Well this could actually all end up working out in my favor. I had kept the wheels and tires off my Titan, which were MKW 18x8.5 +18mm offset, with a 285/60R18 tire on them:

NUMEROUS tire shops and websites all steered me wrong and led me to think they would just bolt up, but he part that screwed me is Nissan used a 6x139 pattern on the Titan, but a 6x135 pattern on the frontier. I was/am very annoyed.

But anyways the conversation of offset got me thinking.... H&R makes Trak+ wheel ADAPTOR spacers and they are 20mm thick. Therefore my +18mm wheels and a +20mm spacer makes +38mm offset. Those seem like they would work pretty well on a frontier from what I've been reading, right? Normally I stay away from spacers but these are high quality ($300 for the set!!!) and it seems many fronty owners are using spacers anyways. So if my wheels don't sell (I'm only asking $995, I paid $2500 ) then I may order up some adaptors.

Thanks for all the help guys!! :

Oops, I forgot offset is the inverse of backspacing. +18mm wheels and +20mm spacers end up with -2mm offset. Damn it Back to the drawing board!!!
