New 2012 SL

I am thinking about getting a new frontier. I like all the features of the SL model, but not necessarily the roof rack. How does it look in real life?

It looks like a roof rack on a frontier. I'm not wild about it either but would probably buy the SL so I can have the features.

The roof rack looks like a monster's long hair. It's the ugliest roof rack I have ever seen. The 18" wheels look terrible for a truck too. So, I decided to buy the SV with premium utility package. However, I wish 8-way seat were available for SV.

SL's are nice. I hate the roof rack look. I have a Pro-4 without a rack and love it. you can get a Pro-4 premium with out the rack. The 18's look fine on the SL

So - At the risk of veering W-A-A-A-A-A-Y off-topic - Who makes a good-looking, top-quality aftermarket roof rack for the Frontier?

According to the brochure, the Pro4 luxury package includes the roof rack.
How does the Pro4 ride? I really will not go off road, but like the features
That come with it. Are the tires ok just for road use? Thanks for the help.

Xoskel is supposed to have a full rack replacement in development. It has been for a while though and I'm not sure if they ever got a donor truck to fit stuff.

The ride is very good; firm, but not harsh/choppy. The tires are biased for highway driving, not offroad. They're not terribly aggressive:

I used to hate how the rack looked until I bought an SL, it really isn't that bad. If you get the PRO4X, get leather, IMO.
